Gray skies and bare silver trees. Settling down, pulling in, thinking about my studio in the basement and the projects that I left on my work table last June, frozen all summer in creative pergatory. Winter squash from the fall harvest is everywhere: on the porch, on the hutch, in bowls on the table... Thanksgiving is Thursday. I love this month.
