Shrouded Sun by Alison Vernon
24x30, oil with palette knives on canvas
I painted this painting about four years ago. It captures a strange moment in the day, dusk with the sun peeking through clouds like a ghost. It was probably in November because November in New Hampshire has the most spectacular skies, also the leaves are off the tree. Shrouded Sun sold yesterday. It went to a wonderful family so it will have a good life.
